Planning Officer
The FSSP Coordination Office, an independent unit in MARD, works to support, coordinate and inspire local, national and international FSSP partners to contribute to and develop a socially, environmentally and economically sustainable forest sector. By working with key stakeholders and applying a participatory, multi-disciplinary and sector-wide approach, the CO improves sectoral collaboration and performance. The CO develops, applies and builds capacity to use effective information systems, and mobilize resources to support sectoral priorities.
Under the supervision of Director and Deputy Director, the Planning Officer is responsible for:
- Preparing the annual, quarterly and monthly work plans and budgets;
- Organizing and preparing the contents of periodical meetings of the Technical Executive Committee and the FSSP annual review;
- Coordinating and supporting Sub-committees of VFDS Programs;
- Supporting working groups of MARD;
- Coordinating partner’s technical inputs related to sector issues;
- Preparing semi-annual, and annual report;
- Coordinating and supporting REDD Network;
- Implementing other activities assigned by the office leaders.

Qualifications and skills:
- Post graduate in relevant areas: Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Environment;
- Good written and spoken English skill;
- Good skills of planning, analysist, writting reports;
- Good communication facilitation skill;
- Good computer skill;
- Ability to work under pressure, good team work spirit.
