Project Assistant

World Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the position: Project Assistant for “Comprehensive Care and Support for PLWHA” Project (1 position) based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Main Responsibilities:
The position supports World Vision Vietnam in reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS in Vietnam and providing care and support services to the local people living with HIV/AIDS;
The position assists Project Manager in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating of the HIV/AIDS project among the target groups.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitude Required:
The following knowledge, skills and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal schooling, self-education, prior experience, or on the job training:

- University graduated, preferably in public health or social works.
- At least 1-2 years work experience in the area of HIV/AIDS or primary health care, community development.
- Experience in project planning and implementation.
- Good facilitation/training skills and communication skills.
- Basic English skills, but good reading skills.
- Good computer skills (word processing, excel and power point).
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, to exercise judgment, to meet deadlines and to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work at the project sites (district level).
- Commitment to working with and learning from the poor and marginalized people, especially children.
