Agricultural Market Analysts

Information Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development (AGROINFO) is directly under Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development (IPSARD) – Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD). AGROINFO provides services of market information and agricultural market research for domestic and international agencies. AGROINFO is seeking for qualified national candidates for positions of agricultural market
analysts with following tasks:
- Gather, update and document information of agricultural commodities related to: (i) production (ii) domestic and international agro-specific product market (iii) domestic and international policies related to the sectors.
- Analyze and forecast domestic and international agricultural markets with weekly, monthly and yearly publications.
- Study agricultural markets.

Quantity: 02 people
Workplace: Mainly in Hanoi, sometimes take part in some field trips as required.

General requirements:
- Have knowledge and skills related to economics, trade and policy analysis.
- Have knowledge of national and international rural and agricultural sector.

Qualifications:
- At least fair bachelor degree with major in economics, development economics, trade and foreign trade.
- Priority for candidates having excellent and master degree graduated from foreign cooperation education programs and developed countries.
- High command of English. Priority for candidates having International English certificate.
- Good skills of Microsoft Office application: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Priority for candidates who have good statistics software utilization skills: Stata, SPSS, SAS, v.v..
- Salary level: Basic salary + negotiation
