(COMMUNICATION INTERN)

The Center for Creativity and Sustainability Study and Consultancy (CCS) was established in 2013 as a science and technology organization under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA).

CCS is currently operating as a science and technology organization, specializing in research and development, capacity building, and policy advice expertise for localized, clean, and renewable energy technology solutions. CCS has significant expertise in implementing various projects in the field of climate, sustainable consumption and production (SCP), and sustainable development. Since 2013 CCS has provided capacity building, training, and technical support to help thousands of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) apply sustainable development methodologies. CCS works in areas such as Design for Sustainability, and Eco-Innovation to promote SCP practices in Vietnam. In addition, CCS has contributed to policy development in the clean and renewable technology field, with a special focus on biomass gasification technology. To support our projects in achieving project targets, we are looking for a full-time/part-time National Internship opportunity as below:

Duty station: Cau Giay district, Hanoi

Duration: 6 months starting from February, 2024

Main activities:

  • Assistance in seeking international funds regarding renewable energy, climate change, sustainable innovation, etc.
  • Assistance in marketing and planning communicating strategies for the visibility of CCS through the website, email, social media (Facekbook, Youtube, LinkedIn), etc.
  • Designing communication materials for CCS and projects of CCS (photos, videos, case studies, brochures, backdrops, standees, ...)
  • Supporting organizing online and offline events of CCS in taking photos, and writing content relating to events.
  • Liaison to journalists to invite CCS's events.
  • Assistance translating news and communication documents, presentations, etc., from Vietnamese into English.

Other tasks as assigned by the Project Officer.

Requirements:

  • Vietnamese citizen, who are in the last year of their study or newly graduated students within 6 months upon commencement of the internship.
  • Specialization in journalism and communication, language, environmental science, economy, international affair or similar.
  • Excellent in using Canva, Photoshop, and video editing software.
  • Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
  • Experiences in an intercultural and multi-lingual context gained by way of internships and/or academic exchanges.
  • Willing to take on responsibility, work independently and travel to project sites for work if necessary.
