Consultancy for Training Workshop to Improve Organisation and Management Skills for Organic Coconut Farmer Ggroups in Ben Tre Province

SNV is looking for a national consultancy facilitate a training workshop to improve organisation and management skills for relevant stakeholders, especially organic coconut farmer groups, in Hung Le commune, Giong Trom district, Ben Tre province with detailed Terms of Reference in the attached file.

1.  Objectives

The proposed training aims to provide relevant stakeholders of the project including Betrimex technical staffs, farmer group leaders, and local extension officers sound knowledge and practical skills on establishing, organizing, motivating, and managing farmers’ groups.

2.  Scope of work

The consultant(s) will provide on a 2-day training Betrimex technical staffs, farmer group leaders, local extension officers (50-60 participants) on below contents:

• Farmer group organisation and management in term of consolidating and guiding the group along the project implementation
• Participatory training methods, emphasize on FFS practices
• Facilitation and coaching skills

3.  Deliverables:

• Guidelines for managing and organizing coconut farmer groups.
• Hand-outs, detail agenda for a 2-day TOT training at least 5 days before the training delivery.
• Short training report (English and Vietnamese).

The written documents listed above should be delivered to SNV within 05 days after specific activity completion. The language for all deliverables is Vietnamese, except for the training report as mentioned above.
