Expert to Develop Joint Documention Cooperation for Anti-Trafficking in Persons Hotline

Trafficking in persons continues to be an issue of human and national security in Vietnam despite the efforts made by the government, international organizations and the civil society. The Department of Child Care and Protection (DCCP), Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), with support of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), has been implementing the Project for Establishment of anti-TIP Hotline, joining the nation-wide combat against human trafficking.

The Hotline establishes a solid cooperation mechanism among the relevant agencies in terms of referral, follow-up on cases, utilization of database and E-directory. Among others, cooperation among the Working Group agencies of the Project, namely, C45 (Ministry of Public Security), Border Guard Command (Ministry of National Defense), Women’s Union and Departments of MOLISA (Department of Social Protection, Department of Social Vices Prevention and Combat, and Department of Overseas Labour) is of utmost importance of the Project. Thus, the Project will develop a document, “The plan for coordination among relevant agencies on the Anti-TIP hotline operation”, as an official document agreed upon by the relevant agencies. The document will clarify the mechanism of cooperation, roles and responsibilities of each agency and a monitoring system.

Therefore, Anti-TIP Hotline Project needs to recruit 01 expert to fulfill this assignment.
