Part-time Finance Consultant

Aide et Action International (AEAI) is an international NGO, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.  AEA International began its programs in 1981 and is now working in more than 20 countries across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, South Asia, Southeast Asia and China to support the development of sustainable education projects with our belief in the universal right to a quality education. Each AEAI intervention is based around this ethos.

AEA Vietnam started working in 2003 with its focus on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). Over more than 10 years of experiences along with local communities, partner organizations, and governments, we have implemented a number of projects in various locations of Vietnam. We are urgently recruiting a qualified Vietnamese candidate for the part-time consultant on finance/admin, for a duration of one month. S/he is able to deliver the following outcomes:

Expected Outcomes:

• Claims/requests are reviewed and verified in compliance with Aide et Action’s finance policies and procedures
•  All transactions are made within the requested time
• Payment vouchers and all finance related invoices are filed in a proper order
• Financial report from partners are reviewed and checked carefully to ensure that all payments are made in line with EC guidelines/requirements
• Cashbooks are reconciled and checked by end of the month
• Bank statement are well received every month
• Staff’s timesheets are reviewed  
• Rearranging the accounting filing system
• Contracts of consultants and staff are reviewed
• Staff social insurance and PIT are updated and prepared
• Admin related works
• Other finance related tasks are performed as per line manager’s request

Qualifications: University degree in finance and accounting with good command of English

Work experience: At least 3 years of working experience in finance and accounting. Experience with development projects and/or INGOs would be an advantage.

Payment: VND800,000-VND900,000 (tax included)/day subject to candidate’s qualification and experiences.
