Job Opening: Project Manager, HSBC Water Project, WWF-Greater Mekong (consultant)

WWF-Greater Mekong is seeking an Project Manager, HSBC Water Project, who is responsible for the management and implementation all activities of HSBC project at the closing stage to ensure compliance with the Project Document and WWF’s contractual obligations. This includes responsibilities for technical, financial and administrative aspects of the Project

Base location: Vietnam or Thailand or Cambodia

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in conservation, river/natural resource management, environmental, socio-economics, or other relevant field; MSc an advantage;
  • Proven understanding of development and conservation context; conservation and river/natural resource management issues in the landscape
  • 5 years of practical experience in managing projects, preferably in conservation or related field;
  • Experience of working with Government officials, local communities and/or donors
  • Experience in financial management and reporting;
  • Experience of communications in support of policy advocacy and campaigns is preferable
  • Experience in the Mekong region is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and diplomatic skills with the ability to manage and interact at all levels of an international, multicultural and multilingual organization
  • Networking, coordination, and facilitation skills;
  • English proficiency, strong technical report writing skills (in English)
