PSI currently seeks a talented and motivated Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator to work full-time with our dynamic, results-oriented team:

Job Title:    QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS (QI) COORDINATOR – working in the South
Report to:    Product Social Marketing Director

Job summary: The QI Coordinator works closely with the Product Social Marketing Director and Country Director (CD) to support our Hypertension project, and to contribute to HIV and Reproductive Health, Quality Improvements activities in the south and near-by rural region. This position will be based in HCMC 60% & nearby rural provinces 40%

Major duties:

  • Training private clinic operators to adhere to national guidelines for multiple disease areas including tuberculosis, hypertension and reproductive health
  • Training pharmacies to refer customers to nearby clinics with trained providers offering quality assured TB, hypertension, RH services
  • Conducting onsite audits among trained clinic/pharmacy outlets to assess medicine quality/affordability as well as compliance with service delivery and reporting guidelines
  • Collaborate with PSI’s marketing team to develop and pre-test —with providers— practical provider tools to increase compliance with service delivery guidelines
  • Provide QI/MIS data as well as text describing project activities and feedback from providers as well as clients served to contribute to PSI reports
  • Collaborate with PSI’s research team to conduct studies to understand the needs and opportunities to increase private sector contributions to multiple health issues
  • Represent PSI with local stakeholders and international funders as requested

Selection criteria:

  • Doctor degree required. 
  • Previous experience in private sector an added advantage, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, results-focused and solution-oriented working style.
  • Willing to learn new things, take on new challenges and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
