Expressions of Interest – External Collaborator Contract

1. The Prevent and Reduce Child Labour in Viet Nam Project of the ILO CO-Hanoi is requesting proposals on mass media and communication assessment

In partnership with MOLISA as the key Government of Viet Nam partner, and its Bureau of Child Protection and Care as implementing focal point, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) is implementing the new project on “Technical Support for Enhancing National Capacity to Prevent and Reduce Child Labour in Viet Nam” (2014-2019) with the financial support from United States Department of Labour (USDOL).

The project will conduct an assessment of national and provincial media groups, media providers including internet providers, channels and platforms to assess the feasibility and provide recommendation for ENHANCE’s public awareness raising strategy. The assessment will provide in depth information on the types, channels, programmes, availability, coverage and effectiveness of communication and public awareness raising efforts on child labour and/or related topics. Based on the results, the project will design a communications strategy for the life of the project including mass media, social media and telecommunications focused campaign and events campaigns to inform the public about child labour, hazardous child labour and the prohibitions against it to inspire discussion across a wide cross-section of society. All proposals must be submitted in English to the ENHANCE Project CTA through email at [email protected] with copy to [email protected].  Proposals submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
