About the opportunities mailing list	English Vietnamese
Since 2006 the Opportunities Mailing List circulates information about jobs, volunteering, grants or other opportunities relating to development work in Vietnam. Anyone can subscribe to the list for free and receive messages about job and volunteer vacancies, grants and other opportunities. For more details on subscription scroll to the bottom of this page. Members of the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre can post unlimited information about vacancies, grants and other opportunities free of charge. All registered international NGOs in Vietnam are welcome to join the membership. Other entities involved in development sector in Vietnam can join our �associated membership� or pay individual contribution fee to circulate information through the Opportunities Mailing List. Non-members can join our membership or pay individual contribution fee of 25 USD (equivalent in Vietnamese Dong) for each advertisement, following these steps: 1. Send email with your job vacancy to [email protected] 2. Wait for invoice from the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre 3. Submit a proof of payment via email (scanned copy of bank transfer) 4. Your (unedited) email will be immediately circulated through the mailing list Please note that your email posted on this list will remain public and available through the Internet search engines, such as Google. This includes any attachments such as personal resumes. Posted emails cannot be removed. Posting information to the opportunities mailing list
To post a message to mailing list members, send it to [email protected]. You do not need to join the mailing list to post information. Use a self-explanatory subject line for the email, including the organisation it's from and a summary of the contents, such as "Vacancy for IT advisor". If at all possible send the information as plain text, without "html" formatting. Use website hyperlinks for any attachments. Such emails are easier for the mailing list to handle and also easier for people with slow internet connections to download. If you must send attachments, keep them as small as possible. Convert Microsoft Word documents to a PDF format. Our policy is to reject emails that total more than 500 kilobytes in size. You can also post job and volunteer vacancies on the NGO Resource Centre website: email details to [email protected]. The same rules apply on attachments.
Receiving information via the opportunities mailing list
You must subscribe to the opportunities mailing list to receive messages. To subscribe, or change your existing subscription, fill out and submit the form below. You will be sent an email requesting confirmation of your subscription and your membership won't start until you have confirmed your subscription. The list of members is available only to the list administrator. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your full name and organisation:   You may enter your own password below. It will be more secure if it includes upper and lower case characters. Use a password that's unique to this mailing list as it will be emailed back to you regularly. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can also request a mail-back of your password via the button labelled "Unsubscribe or edit options" below. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
