The Opportunities Mailing List circulates information about jobs, volunteering, grants or other opportunities relating to development work in Vietnam. The mailing list is for: - anyone who wants to post information about job and volunteer vacancies, grants and other opportunities - anyone who wants to find out about job and volunteer vacancies, grants and other opportunities To see previous postings, visit the opportunities archives.
Posting information to the opportunities mailing list
To post a message to mailing list members, send it to opportunities@ngocentre.org.vn. You do not need to join the mailing list to post information. Use a self-explanatory subject line for the email, including the organisation it's from and a summary of the contents, such as "Vacancy for IT advisor". If at all possible send the information as plain text, without "html" formatting. Use website hyperlinks for any attachments. Such emails are easier for the mailing list to handle and also easier for people with slow internet connections to download. If you must send attachments, keep them as small as possible. Convert Microsoft Word documents to a PDF format. Our policy is to reject emails that total more than 500 kilobytes in size. You can also post job and volunteer vacancies on the NGO Resource Centre website: email details to info@ngocentre.org.vn. The same rules apply on attachments.
Receiving information via the opportunities mailing list
You must subscribe to the opportunities mailing list to receive messages. To subscribe, or change your existing subscription, fill out and submit the form below. You will be sent an email requesting confirmation of your subscription and your membership won't start until you have confirmed your subscription. The list of members is available only to the list administrator. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name:   You may enter your own password below. It will be more secure if it includes upper and lower case characters. Use a password that's unique to this mailing list as it will be emailed back to you regularly. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can also request a mail-back of your password via the button labelled "Unsubscribe or edit options" below. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
