Handicap International Adopts New Operating Name and New Logo
From January 24, Handicap International adopts, worldwide, a new operating name and a new logo
For 35 years, Handicap International has been working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster, alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, taking action and bearing witness in order to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.
Because the name “Handicap International” only evokes part of our scope of activities, on the occasion of its 35th anniversary, Handicap International is adopting a new logo and a new operating name: humanity & inclusion.
“Humanity” evokes a kind, empathetic approach, on a human scale, that considers each individual as unique, while “inclusion” refers to the organization’s core mandate: we are inclusion specialists.
This change will not affect the nature of our programmes and missions or the activities we implement as the organization’s legal name will remain unchanged (Fédération Handicap International) and there will be no change to our byelaws or the purpose of our organization.
The collaborations we have established and the projects we are currently supporting in Vietnam will not be impacted by these changes: they shall only benefit from a new name and a new logo that better say who we are and what we do.
