Vietnam MOLISA Approves $21.2M Project for Disabled Funded By USAID

The Vietnamese Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) has approved a project worth $21.2 million to promote the rights of persons with disabilities funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), state media reported. The project is aimed at increasing independent living and better integration for people with disabilities, as well as creating jobs while completing policies, laws and carrying out supportive plans for them. The project will be implemented in five years by the MOLISA in seven provinces, which are Thai Binh, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, and Dong Nai.
