The first draft Poverty Reduction Support Credit (PRSC) 7, which includes 61 proposed policy actions, was sent to the Government of Vietnam in December 2007. COMINGO and the People's Committee of Hoa Binh are pleased to invite representatives of your organisation to attend the Conference on Strengthening the Co-operation between Hoa Binh and INGOs, which will be held at the Meeting Hall of the Provincial People's Committee, Hoa Binh city on 25 January, 2008.
As the focal point for the UNFCCC, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) has decided to establish a Policy Dialogue Platform on Climate Change (CCPDP) under the auspices of the International Support Group for Natural Resources and Environment (ISGE) to facilitate information sharing and to ensure a well-coordinated approach to climate change issues in Viet Nam. MONRE and ISGE Secretariat will hold a workshop entitled "Policy Dialogue Platform on Climate Change and National Target Program in coping with Climate Change" on January 23. If your

There are two working group meetings coming up in the next few weeks: the Water Supply and Sanitation Working Group will be held on January 18 from 14:00 – 16:00, at the NGO RC; the Microfinance Working Group will be held on January 25 from 8:00 – 12:30 at Dien Luc Hotel, 30 Ly Thai To, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi; the Man have Sex with Man Subgroup Meeting will be held on 23 January from 14:00 – 16:00 at Army Hotel, 33C Pham Ngu Lao, Ha Noi.
