Dear all,

This morning, a tropical depression has developed in the sea South of Viet
Nam (7.4-8.4 lat; 109.9-110.9 long), or 470km East Southeast of the coast of
Ba Ria-Vung Tau to Ca Mau provinces. Wind can reach 39 to 61km per hour,
with local gusts up to 88km per hour. Medium to heavy rain is expected in
the Southern Highland, South Central and Southern provinces. In the next
24h, the depression will move West Northwest and remain in strength. It will
be located 120km of the coast of Ba Ria-Vung Tau to Ca Mau provinces at 7am
in the morning of January 20th.

See attached NCHMF graph for a detailed projection.

The CCFSC website is currently offline due to technical problems with the
server, but everything is done to fix the problem as soon as possible.

Information will be updated through the DMWG mailing list, and through
regular updates from the NCHMF (http://www.nchmf.org.vn
<http://www.nchmf.org.vn/> ).

Best,
