[dmwg] DMWG core member agency list

Dear Hung and DMWG colleagues,

 

I am happy to inform you that Oxfam in Vietnam is highly interested in
participating in DMWG as a core member in 2010. We have updated our
focal/backup contacts in the attached table and willing to support in taking
notes of DMWG meeting in May 2010. 

 

I really like the idea of rotating secretary role among the DMWG core
members so as to better assist the Chair person and hope that we can sustain
this practice in future. 

 

In addition, we may think of other facilitation modalities of the DMWG
meetings/events to make participants more active/dynamic and make our time
more efficient. For example we can consider combining existing meeting model
(e.g. meeting room setting presentation, plenary group discussions, etc.
which mostly allows 1 person speak at a time) with working sessions on
different technical themes, or multiplying our technical corners
simultaneously.

Dear all, 

 

In the DMWG meeting on 19 March 2010 at the NGO RC, the Group came to a
conclusion that the list of DMWG core member agency should be updated for
2010 (see the meeting notes). I am now writing to invite you to confirm
whether your agency is interested in core membership or not. I would
appreciate if you could fill in the attached Word table according to
prefixed columns. As from now on the NGORC will not support our group in
taking notes during meetings, I am calling for support from core members to
indicate which month you are willing to help in this regard as well. 

 

Your reply (by phone, email, or person) should reach me by 5PM 9 April 2010.
For the second week of April, I am thinking of inviting core members to a
working session on technical issues of the DMWG.
