The Centre for International Studies and Cooperation's (CECI) is a
not-for-profit corporation founded in Quebec in 1958 that has operated a
Country Office in Hanoi, Vietnam since 1991. According to its mission, "CECI
fights poverty and exclusion; it strengthens the development capacity of
disadvantaged communities; it supports initiatives for peace, human rights
and equity; it mobilizes resources and promotes the exchange of know-how". 

 


CECI is looking for an experienced and qualified Vietnamese candidate to
fill the position of Senior Program Officer - Implementation and
Participatory M&E Support to support management and implementation the
project "Building Community Resilience to Disasters in Upland Areas of
Vietnam (BCRD)" funded by ECHO which focus on Community Based Disaster Risk
Management (CBDRM) and Climate change Adaptation (CCA) integration with
Livelihood Program and Humanitarian Response. 


 

This position will base in Ha Noi with frequent travel to project sites. 

 

Job Specific Competencies

 

*	University degree, preferably social science, natural resource
management;
*	At least 5 years proven experience of managing and implementing the
development and/or humanitarian projects;
*	Proven experience in Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change
Adaptation and Humanitarian Response is preferable. 
*	Proven experience in application of participatory approaches with
demonstrated Monitoring and Evaluation knowledge and skills. 
*	Familiar with advocacy work at local and national level;
*	Working experience with NGOs or international development
organization is preferable;
*	Strong written and spoken English and Vietnamese;
*	Good computer skills  and
*	Able to travel (50-60% of total working time to the project sites) 

Gross Annual Salary Full Range: US$ 14,061 to US$ 20,041
