[dmwg] Public Private Partnership in DRR in Vietnam Workshop in Da Nang Invitation

To whom it may concern,

 

As you may known, JANI is working zealously with private sector in DRR theme
and gaining some positive results.

The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) in partnership with the
development partners under the network of Joint Advocacy Network Initiative
(JANI) in Viet Nam is supporting the Disaster Management Center (DMC) in
promoting public private partnership with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (VCCI) to contribute to CBDRM activities such as public awareness,
training and capacity building activities.

An important workshop on this theme will be organized  that aim below
objectives: 

.         To help private sector understand more on Public Private
Partnership for DRR in Vietnam and particularly the support to implement the
CBDRM program.

.         To provide guidance to private sector on how to participate in DRR
initiatives.

.         To advocate private sector to participate in DRR activities in
Vietnam by signing in the Agreement Certificate.

Workshop will be co-chaired by Mr. Dao Xuan Hoc from MARD, Mr. Pham Gia Tuc
from VCCI (MPI) and with participation of many other fund foundations,
private sectors and relevant agencies.
