Dear colleagues and friends:<div><br></div><div>Please find enclosed the invitation from PACCOM regarding visas and work permits for expatriate staff of INGOs working in Vietnam. There will be two meetings, one in Hanoi and one in Ho Chi Minh city, which will clarify procedures and provide further instructions. The dates, times and venues are following:</div>
<div><br></div><div><div><div>HO CHI MINH CITY meeting:</div><div>Monday 3 October 2011 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at 31 Le Duan street, district 1, Ho Chi Minh city;</div></div><div><br></div><div>HANOI meeting:</div><div>
Tuesday 4 October 2011 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at 105A Quan Thanh street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi;</div>
<div><br></div><div>The meetings will be chaired by the Director General of PACCOM and possibly joined by a representative of the Ministry of Labour Invalids and Social Affairs. All INGOs are invited and encouraged to send up to three representatives from each organisation. A separate letter, introducing regulations which came into effect on 1 August 2011 regarding work permits and visas, will be sent separately (due to its large size)�following this announcement.</div>
