[Ngo-emwg] Call for paper to conference "Co-research: Applying Anthropology in Ethnic Minority Development in Vietnam"

Viện Nghiên cứu Xã hội, Kinh tế và Môi trường (iSEE), Viện Dân tộc học
(Viện Hàn lâm Khoa học Xã hội Việt Nam) và Bộ môn Nhân học (Trường Đại học
Khoa học Xã hội và Nhân văn) trân trọng kính mời anh/chị gửi bài đóng góp
cho *Hội thảo “Nghiên cứu cùng cộng đồng: Ứng dụng nhân học trong phát
triển ở vùng dân tộc thiểu số Việt Nam”*. Hội thảo nhằm mục tiêu tạo ra một
diễn đàn mở để các nhà khoa học, nhà hoạch định chính sách và người làm
công tác phát triển chia sẻ những ý tưởng, phát hiện và phương pháp liên
quan đến cách tiếp cận nhân học và nghiên cứu cùng cộng đồng trong phát
triển vùng dân tộc thiểu số ở Việt Nam, đồng thời thảo luận về các hướng
ứng dụng nhân học trong thời gian tới.

Thời gian: Ngày 1/10/2014

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Environment (iSEE),
the Institute of Anthropology (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences) and
the Department of Anthropology (University of Social Sciences and
Humanities) would like to invite proposals for paper presentations and/or
posters/exhibits for the *Conference “Co-research: Applying Anthropology in
Ethnic Minority Development in Vietnam”*. The conference aims to create an
open forum for social scientists, policy makers and development officers to
share ideas, findings and methods related to the anthropological approach
and co-research in ethnic minority development and at the same time,
discussing potential applications of anthropology in Vietnam.

Time: October 1st, 2014
Venue: Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, 1 Lieu Giai Str., Ba Dinh Dist.,
Hanoi

Submissions should be emailed to the conference coordinator, Ms. Pham Thanh
Tra pttra at isee.org.vn by *12:00 August 5th 2014*. All submissions should
include a title and an abstract of no more than 400 words in font Times New
Roman 12 together with a curriculum vitae of the author/presenter.
