As the storm clouds gather again and weather experts sound the alarm,
another warning about the aftermath of natural disasters has come from an
unlikely source.

To reduce the number of deaths and injuries, the government has teamed up
with NGOs to launch pilot programmes in the southern provinces, where

The local authorities in northern Ha Giang province have confirmed that a
major landslide in the early morning of April 27 killed three children aged
under 10. One child and a 21 year old woman are still missing

Nam

Viet Nam's Institute of Hygiene and Public Health (IHPH) through the support
of the World Health Organization (WHO) conducted a national training course
on Health Emergency Response Operations (HERO) in Viet Nam. This training
for trainers (TOT) was held in Ho Chi Minh City on 3-7 May 2010.
