[Ngo Climate Change] draft messages for the MYCG meeting next week for your review

Dear All,

Here is a draft statement with key points for the INGO contribution on
climate change to next weeks mid year CG meeting. As decided by the INGO
forum it will be delivered this year by Peter Newsum who will have about 2
minutes to speak...  We have tried to incorporate everyone's points, to make
it short and concise and to focus on the current topical and specific issues
and concerns relating to ongoing government initiatives.  We have tried to
reduce repeating general points made in previous CG meetings. 

 

We will discuss the draft and make a final version at the CCWG meeting on
Thursday this week so please send your comments before then or bring them to
the meeting which Peter will also attend. Comments which help us to simplify
the messages or reduce text will be welcome!
