Dear all,

The Union for Ethical BioTrade is calling for industry and stakeholder
feedback in the revision of its standard, the Verification Framework on
Native Natural Ingredients. A formal revision process was announced in
early July and the Union is now actively encouraging participation in
the consultation phase. A special effort is underway to obtain business
input on the standard in order to help strengthen the institution’s
objectives to promote the ‘Sourcing with Respect’ of biodiversity
ingredients. Currently, members use the Verification Framework as a
roadmap for achieving greater social, environmental, and economic
sustainability.

Please find here attached a press release that further elaborates on the
Union’s call for participation in the revision of its standard. More
information, including instructions on how to contribute, can be found
at: http://ethicalbiotrade.org/revisionprocess/index.html

Should you have any questions or would like additional information,
please do not hesitate to contact me or the Union for Ethical BioTrade
Secretariat at any time.

Kind regards,

Caitlin Zaino
