Southeast Asia's largest rainforests, you see unbelievable things:

*  October 19: Confiscated one military truck in protected forest
and 5.5 cubic meters of illegally logged timber, one chainsaw
and one AK-47 with ammunition.
*  November 21: Found and removed 405 rope snares which are being
kept at station. Released 1 live civet cat found in a snare.
*  November 23: Found 750 meters of pangolin nets and 57 rope
snares. Released 1 female red deer, about 50 kg.

While other forests in developing countries are fragmented by
development, slashed and burned for agriculture, drowned under
hydroelectric reservoirs, or chopped down for lumber, the Cardamoms
stand as the second-largest intact rainforest in Southeast Asia.
Without continued vigilance, this natural wonder could be lost
forever. Only Wildlife Alliance's forest rangers stand between this
emerald and the illegal logging and wildlife poaching syndicates who
profit from the planetís natural treasures.
