Finance Assistant
Location: No 16, Lane 11, To Ngoc Van Street, Tay Ho District, Hanoi
Starting time: preferably in March 2025, one-year contract with possibility of extension

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) is a liberal foundation from Germany. All of our work is guided by liberty as its fundamental value. Being active in Germany and in around 60 project countries worldwide, we promote freedom, human rights, the rule of law, and market-based economy. With a wide range of topics such as Education, Digital and Open Society, Future of Market Economy and International Issues, we facilitate dialogues, organize conferences and invite experts for increasing exchange between Vietnam and Germany. FNF opened its office in Vietnam in September 2012 with a wide range of topics: Provincial Competitiveness Index, Free Trade Agreements, market economy, and smart city. Our partners include Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Vietnam Institute for Economic and Policy Research (VEPR), University of Economics and Business (VNU-UEB), Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), among other localities and organisations.
Job Description:
Accounting and Finance:
- Receive and check the legitimacy of invoices and documents according to internal regulations and Vietnamese laws;
- Manage the system of documents (hard copies and soft copies);
- Carry out the collection and payment procedures;
- Use internal accounting software for bookkeeping;
- Assist in Preparing financial statements as required by the Regional Office;
- Assist & Collaborate with Project and Finance team to reply and complete internal audit reports.
HR:
- Drafting and managing labor contracts;
- Assist Finance Manager to settle salary, tax, trade union and socialinsurance issues;
Other Tasks:
- Manage office lease contracts and annual private insurance contracts;
- Report work as required;
- Perform other assigned tasks in relation with Office and Finance Management.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting
- Careful, honest, work well with numbers and procedures;
- Foreign languages: fluent in English. Knowing German is an advantage;
- Proficient in using office computer software. Ready to learn specialized software of FNF;
- Fresh graduates with suitable previous internship experiences are welcomed to apply.
