Oxfam in Vietnam is currently seeking qualified consultant(s) to conduct a Training of Trainers (TOT) course on facilitation skills for key resource persons of the Farmers’ Union at provincial, district, and commune levels, as well as leaders and core members of farmers’ groups/ cooperative in five project provinces in Mekong Delta region.
The objective of this assignment is to strengthen the capacity of these key individuals to effectively facilitate meetings and thematic group sessions for farmers’ groups/ cooperatives, thereby enhancing the participation, engagement, and effectiveness of female and male farmers at the local level. Through the TOT training, participants will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools to:
- Design and conduct participatory, gender-sensitive group meetings and thematic sessions;
- Apply facilitation methods that maximize the active participation of farmer members, with a strong focus on gender inclusion;
- Capable to lead/ facilitate thematic group activities covering areas such as occupational safety and health (OSH), social protection, sustainable livelihoods, participatory planning, collective action, and gender mainstreaming.
