As many as 60% of Vietnamese individuals aged over 40 are diagnosed with spinal degeneration, a condition that can lead to paralysis and disability, experts in neurosurgery have highlighted.
They shared this information at the 23rd Vietnam Neurosurgery Conference, organized by the Vietnam Neurosurgery Association in collaboration with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, on December 6-7.
Conference attendees discussed the latest minimally invasive techniques in neurosurgery and spinal surgery.
The Vietnam Neurosurgery Association is actively working with strategic partners to provide integrated solutions, including the application of artificial intelligence, to develop new techniques and enhance the skills of neurosurgeons in Vietnam. (Suc Khoe Doi Song, Tien Phong, Bao Quang Tri)
