Save the Children started our work in Vietnam in 1990, and implements programs in the key thematic areas: Education, Health and Nutrition, Child Protection, Child Rights and Governance, Child Poverty, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Emergency Response. At present, Vietnam Country Office has programs in 22 out of 63 provinces in Vietnam.

The international Leave No One Behind initiative is an international NGO collaboration, coordinated by the International Civil Society Centre, aiming to put marginalized people at the heart of SDG implementation and monitoring. The international coalition is jointly implementing a pilot research project in five countries – Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Kenya and Nepal. In Vietnam, the national Leave No One Behind (LNOB) coalition was formed in January 2018, and currently includes 12 national and international NGO members. ActionAid Vietnam coordinates the coalition.
Organization: Plan International Vietnam, re-established in 1993, is an international child-centered community development organization working in 73 countries. Plan is working in partnership with local people; organizations and government bodies to help children in Vietnam meet their basic needs as well as expand their opportunities to reach their full potential. The project: “Community Based Bilingual Education for Ethnic Minority Children” funded by European Commission since April 2016 to March 2019 in eight communes of Meo Vac and Yen Minh district of Ha Giang province, Vietnam.
