Action on Poverty (AOP), previously known as the Australian Foundation for the Peoples of Asia and the Pacific (AFAP), is an independent, secular, fully-accredited Australian non-profit organisation. AOP empowers local changemakers to break the cycle of entrenched poverty in some of the poorest communities in Africa, Asia and the Pacific. From teaching an Ethiopian family to grow their own food to sending Cambodian girls to school, we target communities with their own vision for change, and help them make the largest impact possible.

In 100 countries and territories around the world, CARE places special focus on working alongside poor girls and women because, equipped with the proper resources, they have the power to help lift whole families and entire communities out of poverty.
VVOB is a non-profit organisation with over 35 years of experience in improving the quality of education systems from a rights-based perspective. VVOB has currently long-term partnerships with education actors in 9 countries in the South (Cambodia, DR Congo, Ecuador, Rwanda, South Africa, Suriname, Vietnam, Zambia and Uganda) and in Belgium/Flanders. Its annual budget is around 13 million euros.
To strengthen VVOB staff’s skills in writing articles, especially for web publication (media news and features, mobile and social media posts, etc.), VVOB is looking for a consultant/a team of consultants to provide an engaging and interactive training to improve the writing skills of our staff.
