International day for disaster risk reduction event in Da Nang province

The Climate Change Centre Network together with its  member organizations including Malteser International, Center for Rural Development in Central Vietnam (CRD), Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), Consultative and Research Center on Natural Resource Management (CORENARM), the GreenViet Biodiversity Conservation center (GreenViet), Center for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD) and Danang Climate Change Coordiantion Office (CCCO)  co-fund and organize  communication event with the theme of “The elderly with disasters in 2014: Resilience is for Life” as recommended by UNISDR.

In order to celebrate the International day for Disaster Risk Reduction, Save The Children in collaboration with Tien Giang People's Committee and Disaster Management Working Group members (Care International, Plan International, Helpage International, ASEAN, and Humanitarian Aid & Civil  Protection) to co-organize an special event with the theme focusing on "The older persons with Disaster: Resilience is for Life".
