The Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resources Management (SANRM) meeting

 

This is preliminary meeting of the Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resources Management (SANRM) meeting. During the meeting the group will establish the Core Group; select chairperson(s) and discuss working mechanisms of the group as the group did not meet in long time.

The detail agenda is as below:

1. Welcome and Introduction;
2. Election of the Core Group members and Chairperson(s);
3. Quick review of the Terms of Reference and discussion on Work Plan 2011-2012;
4. Brief presentation of ISG-MARD Regional Workshops;

The Sustainable Agriculture & Natural Resource Management (SANRM) Working Group brings together member agencies of the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre and others working in the SANRM sector in Vietnam.

Through sharing information and experiences, participants aim to improve the quality and impact of their work in this sector, identify opportunities for co-ordination on practical and strategic issues, and promote policy dialogue with relevant government agencies, donor organisations and other local and international organisations.

Participants include INGOs, government ministries, local organisations, and bilateral and multilateral agencies.
