01 Project Assistant/Interpreter; 01 Finance Officer; 01 Administrative Assistant

Lux-Development, the Executing Agency for Bilateral Co-operation financed by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is assisting the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism (MCST) to implement project aiming at “Strengthening of Human Resources in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry in Vietnam”.
The overall objective of this project is to supply the hospitality and tourism industry in key tourist zones identified by the Government of Vietnam with qualified personnel, and the specific objective is to increase the quantity and to improve the quality of graduates from selected tourism schools/colleges in key tourist zones through upgraded capacity of schools to deliver practice-oriented and demand-driven training.
The recently launched project VIE/031 -  “Strengthening of Human Resources in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry in Vietnam” has planned duration of 3 years.
The Lux-Development Support Team lead by a Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) is looking for candidates to fill the following positions:

1. 01 PROJECT ASSISTANT/INTERPRETER (PAI)
Duty station: Hanoi with frequent travels to other provinces (approximately 50% of time)
Key responsibilities:
- Translation and interpretation
- Support CTA in the project coordination
- Assist CTA in the project management
- Other tasks that may be required by the CTA.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree (Master degree would be an asset) in English, specifically, major in Interpretation/ Translation; having background in business administration and management, technical vocational education and training, tourism development and hospitality would be an advantage;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience;
- Experience in professional translation/interpretation and project management;
- Demonstrated knowledge in the technical field of vocational education and/ or tourism development and hospitality.
- Prior working experience in international donors’ project would be an advantage
- Excellent team player with strong communication, organizational and presentation skills;
- Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet.
- Readiness to travel on a regular basis to different provinces.

2. 01 FINANCE OFFICER (FO)
Duty station: Hanoi with occasional travels to other provinces
Key responsibilities:
- Day-to-day financial management of the project;
- Maintenance of all financial accounts and procurement procedures;
- Other tasks that may be required by the CTA.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Banking/Finance;
- At least 5 year-experience in finance/accounting field; Experience working with development sector/international organisations is a preference.
- Knowledge and experience working with accounting software.
- Very good English in speaking, reading, and writing.
- Proficient with the MS Office package and Vietnamese keyboard solutions;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Innovative and creative, team player.

3. 01 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (AA)
Duty station: Hanoi with occasional travels to other provinces
Key responsibilities:
- Day-to-day administrative assistance to the project;
- Assistance to PAI in translation and interpretation
- Other tasks that may be required by the CTA.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in English, specifically in Interpretation/Translation Major; having background in  tourism/ hospitality or social science would be an advantage;
- At least 1 year experience in professional translation/ interpretation and administrative assistance;
- Excellent English in speaking, reading, and writing;
- Proficient with the MS Office package and Vietnamese keyboard solutions;
- Demonstrated knowledge in the technical field of the project;
- Prior working experience in international donors’ project would be an advantage;
- Excellent team player with strong communication, organizational and presentation skills;
