140 Fuses and Bullets Discovered in Kon Tum Province

Nearly 140 fuses, bullets and a single rocket were found at a construction site in the central highlands province of Kon Tum June 30, the Tien Phong newspaper reported July 2. Members of the province's military steering committee said there were numerous unexploded bombs left over from the American War in the area. Meanwhile, authorities of the central province of Quang Nam approved a VND2 billion ($105,000) project to detect and clear bombs and mines.
