1M People in Central Highlands Provided with Medical Treatment

More than one million ethnic minority people in five Vietnam’s central highlands provinces have been provided with medical checkups and treatment for 6 recent years, which is part of a healthcare project. Under the project, 3,000 local health workers have been trained for 6 recent years, the Suc Khoe & Doi Song newspaper reported July 1. The Ministry of Health, management unit of the project and Danameco Medical Joint Stock Corporation, handed over 25 emergency cars for fives provinces of Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum June 29.
