46 Vietnam Doctors Offer Free Eye Care to Cambodian Patients

Forty six doctors and nurses from the Military Hospital 175 and the Ho Chi Minh City Eye Hospital of Vietnam provided free-of-charge eye examination and surgeries to 200 poor patients in Cambodia on May 4. This is the first charity tour held by the military hospital this year, which was funded by the Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade and the Ho Chi Minh City Development Company. The Vietnamese doctors also brought modern equipment and medicines worth VND200 million to Cambodia, the state-run Vietnam News Agency said. The hospital 175 has provided health checks-up and treatment to 1,500 Cambodian poor patients since 2007.
