Accountant

The project “Agriculture and Rural Development Sector Programme Support – ARD SPS” is sponsored by DANIDA – the Danish government for the period of 2007-2012 with the purpose of supporting research, policy formulation and information dissemination on upland agricultural and rural development”
The Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural development (IPSARD) is assigned as an implementation agency for the ARD SPS project with a Project Management Unit (PMU) based in the Institute. In order to deploy the activities of  the Project, PMU is looking for experienced and qualified Vietnamese candidates for the following positions:
ACCOUNTANT

- Carry out periodical accounting and financial planning, disbursement, daily transactions with the Bank offices, State Treasury etc.;
- Implement, monitor and control flows, transactions, project assets,  procurement, etc.;
- Keep accounting and financial records as required by the Vietnam government and sponsor’s rules;
- Prepare accounting and financial reports and provide support in auditing works;
- Work with relevant stakeholders in the programme to ensure smooth accounting and financial activities.

Requirements:
- University degree in accounting and finance;
- Fairly good knowledge in English (capable of reading and comprehending financial reports)
- At least 2 years working experience in similar positions in ODA projects;
- Good knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and financial management rules;
- Competence in using Windows application software, knowledge in accounting and financial software is an advantage.
- Ability to work under high pressure
