ADB to Fund $100M for Vietnam to Grow 23,000Ha of Forest

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will fund $100 million for Vietnam’s central and central highlands provinces to carry out a project to grow 23,000 hectares of forest, the Saigon Giai Phong newspaper reported Friday. The provinces are Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Lam Dong and Phu Yen. The provinces have selected 60 communes which will receive $20,000 each to implement the project.
