Belgium Helps Build First Family Doctor Center in Hanoi

The French-speaking community of Brussels and Liege University of Belgium have assisted a project to build a family doctor center in Hanoi, the Suc Khoe & Doi Song newspaper reported Thursday. The project, the first of its kind in northern Vietnam, will be implemented by a hospital under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The center helps reduce the overload of big hospitals and improve healthcare services, the newspaper added. Professor Didier from the Liege University said that the model of the family doctor was carried out successfully in Belgium and development countries.
