Bidding Announcement

SNV (Netherlands Development Organisation) in Vietnam is engaged in development cooperation. SNV contributes to poverty reduction through increased income and employment creation for a large group of households, micro and small scale enterprises. Among others, SNV is supporting the development of the cardamom value chain with emphasis on the Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces in Vietnam.
SNV would like to invite Vietnamese consulting organizations or Local Capacity Builders who are interested in working with SNV to provide capacity support to Lai Chau and Lao Cai clients to submit a proposal for undertaking the assignment on “Baseline study for cardamom sector in Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces”

The proposal should be issued through e-mail in either the Vietnamese or English language, but preferably in both languages. The proposal should outline the content of working methodology, work plan, a detailed break-down of the consultancy budget (consultancy fee and travel allowance will be covered by SNV using our standard rate, transportation and accommodation will be paid against receipts, and workshop cost covered by clients), profile of the organization (if applicable), CVs of experts proposed to conduct the assignment, and an overview of comparable assignments carried out in the past.
SNV will appraise the submitted proposals based on which one consultant, consultancy firm, or Local Capacity Builder will be assigned. All rights are with SNV to engage or disengage with the proposal. The bidding organization of consultant may be required to revise the proposal if necessary based on SNV comments. After an agreement has been reached on the proposal a contract will be signed by both sides for implementation.
