Boeing Builds Two Schools in Mekong Delta

The US-based Boeing Company inaugurated two schools in the Mekong Delta provinces of Can Tho and An Giang on Dec. 7. The schools built at a total cost of around $125,000 from Boeing company are Thanh Tien 2 Primary school in Can Tho province and Dao Huu Canh Kindergarten in An Giang province. Attending the inauguration ceremony were U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Michael Michalak, Boeing’s representatives and the East Meet West Foundation. The construction of the two schools is part of Boeing’s efforts to improve the education system in Vietnam’s rural areas.
