Save the Children in Vietnam (SC) works to promote every child’s rights to survival, protection, participation and development as set forth in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The current programme focuses on the following core sectors: Health and Nutrition; HIV/AIDS prevention; Care and support; Education; Child protection; Child-focused emergency preparedness and response; Child rights agenda, including Civil society development, Economic opportunities, Child poverty Research, and Advocacy for child-friendly development policy and practice.
Training consultant
Save the Children and Post and Telecommunication Joint-Stock Insurance Company (PTI) will jointly implement a project in Thanh Hoa province on microfinance. They are looking for a consultant to conduct training for trainer (TOT) on insurance products and promotion skills to build capacity for PTI’s and local partner’s staff on implementing the micro insurance project from 23 to 30 April 2010. The training will be conducted in Hanoi.
Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge and experiences in product promotion skills, active adult learning methodologies and skills,
- Proven experiences on TOT method with focus on approaches and methodologies that are applicable to make trainees are able to develop training and using active adult learning methods and skills
- Good knowledge and experience in insurance products and services and/or micro finance activities
- Strong training material development as well as training skills.
