Consultant with Plan in Vietnam

Plan in Vietnam is currently implementing the Child helpline project, which operates across the country. Plan is looking for consultants with in-depth knowledge and experiences in conducting a feasibility research that can support Plan and its partner to improve its services to children with difficult circumstances and those living in mountainous, border and island areas. Plan in Vietnam works in 9 provinces in north and central Vietnam within the following sectors: ECCD; Education; Maternal and Child Health; Child Protection; WASH; DRM; and Microfinance.

Vacancy:
Job Title: Consultants to conduct a Feasibility research to evaluate the need to get access to the Child helpline of children, who have difficult circumstances and children living in mountainous, border and  island areas
Location: Bac Giang, Ha Giang, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum and Ca Mau

Main responsibilities:
- Work with Plan in Vietnam technical program staff and partners to conduct the research
- Submit to Plan in Vietnam and partner a final research report in Vietnamese and a translated version in English ( approximately 40 pages)
- Present research findings at a dissemination workshop

Requirements:
- Must have experience as a team leader in conducting research in social issues
- Experience in conducting research in children issues or children, who have difficult circumstances or children, who live in mountainous, border or island areas is preference
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Knowledge in Child helpline in Vietnam is an advantage
- Must have the ability to work under huge pressure and to work to deadlines
- Must have group facilitating skill
- MA degree is essential
