Consultants for the Energy Efficiency and Cleaner Production Financing Project; Marketing/Communications Consultant

IFC is seeking consultants for the Energy Efficiency and Cleaner Production Financing Project, which aims to support enterprises in their modernization investments to achieve energy efficiency, cost savings, higher productivity, and better environmental performance.
1. Energy Efficiency/Cleaner Production Consultant(s) - Individual or seconded through firm contracts 100 days between February-July 2010, 150 days between July 2010-June 2011
Based in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi
- Graduate degree(s) in engineering, with strong knowledge of business and finance
- Seven years of experience in the private sector, preferably in energy efficiency audits and/or cleaner production assessments, feasibility studies, and project developments for investments
- Extensive knowledge of the commercial and industrial energy efficiency markets, both internationally and in Vietnam
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle a variety of activities concurrently
- Excellent interpersonal skills and dynamic personality
- Ability to communicate technical and financial issues effectively
- Note: Secondments from technical firms can also be accepted
2. Marketing/Communications Consultant - Individual contracts
100 days between February-December 2010, with possible extension afterwards
Based in Ho Chi Minh City
- University degree, minimum three years direct experience in a marketing/communications position, preferably for an international company, and/or in financial service sector
- Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically
- In-depth understanding of financial terminology and financial institutions
- Effective interpersonal skills, with successful experience as both a leader and member of a team
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written Vietnamese, fluent in written and spoken English
