Curriculum Development and Training Advisor

Hagar International is a Swiss-based Christian organization that is committed to individualized and long-term assistance to its beneficiaries, advocating the strategic use of the social enterprise model as a tool for social rehabilitation and economic empowerment. Hagar works with women and children from devastating backgrounds of violence, abuse and trafficking and supports them in their recovery, rehabilitation, job readiness and ultimately community reintegration.
Hagar Vietnam is currently focusing on two main objectives. A partnership has been developed with the Center for Women and Development under the Women’s Union. Hagar will collaborate with this centre to increase the center’s capacity to deliver high quality recovery services within its residential care facilities for survivors of domestic violence and trafficking. The second objective is to create and implement the Empowerment for Life (EWL) program, which will provide an avenue towards economic empowerment for women. Hagar will partner with existing vocational training programs to develop a program tailored to the needs of these women which will include hard vocational skills along with soft skills, self-development and life skills.
