Hanoi Hosts 14th Int’l Education Exhibition

Twenty nine universities and educational institutions from seven countries, including the U.K, the U.S, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Switzerland, took part in the 14th international education exhibition in Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi on July 18. During the event, representatives from famous universities, such as Monash University, the University of New South Wales and the University of Queensland, provided students and visitors with essential information on courses, living conditions, health insurance services and jobs available at the universities. The exhibition was also a good opportunity for students, who intend to study abroad, to learn experiences from former overseas students, the Quan Doi Nhan Dan newspaper reported July 20. The number of Vietnamese students going abroad for study is on the rise every year.  Currently, there are almost four million Vietnamese living, working and studying in 100 countries and territories worldwide, including 250,000 in Laos and Cambodia.
