Hanoi to Spend $4.19M to Prevent Landslides

Authorities of Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi have approved a plan to spend nearly VND80 billion ($4.18 million) to prevent landslides, the An Ninh Thu Do newspaper reported. The city plans to build an 4-kilometer embankment along Day River’s section that stretches from Vien An, Dong Tien communes to Van Dinh township in Ung Hoa district.
