HCM City Starts Building $788,600 Clean Water Supply Station

Ho Chi Minh City kicked off the construction of a clean water supply station worth VND15 billion ($788,600) in Binh Chanh district on April 20. Once operational in late this year, the station with a daily capacity of 2,700 cubic meters will benefit 3,000 households in Tan Quy Tay commune. The city now has 119 clean water supply stations to provide water for 50,000 rural people and it plans to build 17 more stations this year.
