Humanitarian Programme Officer

The role:       
- To involve in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) of ongoing Humanitarian Projects.
- To implement emergency preparedness, emergency response and recovery, disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation & mitigation projects, and to get involvement in inter-agency coordination mechanisms, advocacy for standards and accountability issues.

Reports to:        Humanitarian Programme Coordinator

The requirements:
- Vietnamese national.
- University degree, preferably social science, related field or/and management.
- At least 5 years proven experience of managing development and humanitarian programme/project. Working experience with NGOs or international development organisation is preferable.
- Proven experience in  project monitoring, evaluation, organising learning events following participatory approaches and tools. Developing tools and methods.
- Good understanding and practical experience in application of equity issues (Gender and diversity).
- Familiar with advocacy work at local and national level.
- Strong written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
- Research experience will be an asset.
- Able to travel (30-40% of total time) to programme/project areas.

Gross Annual Salary Range:            US$ 13,100 – US$ 17,500
