International Consultant to Conduct Promoting Energy Conservation in Small and Medium Scale Enterprise’ (PECSME) Project

The UNDP Viet Nam seeks 01 International Consultant to conduct Promoting Energy Conservation in Small and Medium Scale Enterprise’ (PECSME) project.

The Project ‘Vietnam: Promoting Energy Conservation in Small and Medium Scale Enterprise’ (PECSME) is a joint effort of the Global Environmental Facility (GEF) and Vietnamese counterparts, aiming at encouraging application of the energy efficient practices among SMEs in Vietnam, and so contributing to the reduction of Green House Gas (GHG) emission by the sector.

A high qualified international technical consultant in energy conservation and energy efficiency is immediately required for supporting the PMU and the UNDP CO with the aim of improving the whole project performance toward project objectives during the phasing out stage.

The consultant will be required to carry out the main tasks as follows:
1. Implementation of the Energy Performance Contract Programme
2. Technical service to the phase-out of the Loan Guarantee Fund agreement
3. Provision of the policy advice on Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency policy

Duration of the assignment is from 15 April 2010 to 31 December 2010
