Khmer People in Vinh Long Province to be Provided with Safe Water

Authorities of Vietnam’s southern province of Vinh Long have approved a project to provide safe water for poor Khmer ethnic people. More than 1,000 families in communes of Tra On, Tam Binh, Binh Minh, Vung Thiem and Mang Thit will get benefit from the project. Under the project, each household will receive VND1 million ($53) to erect water tanks and dig wells.
